Yes of course you can. You still benefit by charging your battery at night on your ‘cheaper energy’ night tariff to use through the day when you need it most. Typically there is a 75% saving buying your electricity on a night rate compared to a day rate.
You are also supporting the grid by easing demand at peak times using your self stored energy. Don’t forget you can also back up your critical circuits in the event of a power cut which we think is a pretty smart feature.
