EV Charge point Installers
Established in 2008 by Adam Utley.
Adam has over 25 years experience in electrical installations and contracting and became interested in electric vehicle technologies quite early and created UTLEY EV.
In 2016 UTLEY EV became one of the first companies to be authorised to install EV chargers under the EVHS grant scheme by the Office of Low Emission Vehicles. Based on Thorp Arch Estate near Wetherby we are perfectly sited to service the whole of Yorkshire.
Having an EV charging point installed at your home or business is quite an exciting time. Which is why each and every EV charger installation is treated as an individual project and always given the attention it deserves and installed to the highest standards.
Customer experience has always been number one priority at Utley EV. The engineer you meet on the survey will be the same engineer that conducts your installation on the day and our back office staff are always there to make sure the whole process runs smoothly and without a hitch.

EV Chargers for the home
What can we say about the Easee Home charger? It’s an amazing little EV Charger from Scandinavian that’s what! Expandable up to three units at your home using dynamic load balancing to charge all vehicles automatically. We could talk about this unit for hours, and we do!
The Rolec Home Smart WallPod EV Charger range is a low-cost, entry level smart charging unit, designed to offer full Mode 3 fast charging for every Electric Vehicle on the market. It is available in either tethered cable, or socket versions.
EO Charging offer a number of different charging solutions to suit all budgets including one of our favourites the EO Mini PRO. A fantastic looking discreet smart charger for your home, the smallest fast charger on the market today.
Currently the Tesla Wall Connector is not on the OLEV approved list of EV chargers. Meaning the the £350 EVHS grant is not available on this charge point. That’s not to say you can’t have one, of course you can!
If you want nothing else for your new Tesla EV Charger then please contact us to arrange a site survey and quotation.
EV chargers for the Workplace
We can offer a number of chargers for the workplace. Rolec being the standout manufacturer for us. They have a number of solutions available but the SecuriCharge is very popular for good reason. It’s robust, well priced and available on the Workplace charging Scheme. The twin outlet version being particularly cost effective as you can claim two £350 grants for the one unit. Yes that’s £700 off the installation cost of the twin outlet version.
The Easee Charge charge point has been designed with commercial installations in mind. 22kW AC charging, dynamic load balancing this really is the ultimate solution for you workplace or apartment parking. We think it looks pretty special too!
The OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme offers grants for companies expressing an interest in having electric vehicles within their fleet. £350 per charge point and up to 20 charge points per company meaning a potential grant allocation of £7,000.
